Inspired by the world of Harry Potter, participants will learn wand combat techniques and explore magical movement and performance in a unique hands-on experience available exclusively at Studio Tour Tokyo.
As part of this special participant-only programme, children will train with a wand, take on exciting magical challenges and step inside the wizarding world like never before.

Let’s have fun learning about the wizards from the Harry Potter universe while getting ready for the special lessons that are about to begin! The content is designed to be enjoyable even if you’re not familiar with the series, so even first-time participants can join with confidence.

What to Expect on the Day

1. Arrive at Studio Tour Tokyo
Visitors may enter Studio Tour Tokyo up to one hour before their scheduled programme time.
2. Meet in the Lobby
Please arrive in the lobby no later than 15 minutes before the lesson begins.
3. Attend Your Exclusive Lesson
Take part in an interactive experience inspired by Defence Against the Dark Arts in a dedicated programme area.
4. Receive Your Exclusive Gift
Participants will receive special commemorative items available only through this experience.
5. Begin the Studio Tour
Following the lesson, visitors will return to the lobby before continuing their Studio Tour experience.

Important Information
Visitors arriving after the meeting time may be unable to participate.
Entry to the Studio Tour begins after the lesson concludes.
Visitors should assemble in the lobby at least 15 minutes before the programme start time.
Studio Tour entry will begin approximately 60 minutes after the lesson start time.
For example, visitors booked on the 9:30am Wand Combat Lesson may begin the Studio Tour from approximately 10:30am.

Special Feature: “DARK ARTS HALLOWEEN”

A special Halloween-season event themed around the world of “Dark Arts” depicted in the “Harry Potter” film series—the realm where Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord, plunged the wizarding world into terror.
Studio Tour Tokyo has been taken over by Death Eaters and transformed into a dangerous and unsettling world swirling with the Dark Arts. Experience the world of “darkness” that Harry Potter faced with thrilling immersion.

Participation Requirements and Parent/Guardian Accompaniment

  • This program is an experiential program for elementary and middle school students.
  • Each participant may be accompanied by up to two people. Adult companions may bring preschool-aged children with them. If you require special assistance for reasons such as caregiving, please contact Visitor Services in advance.
  • Parental accompaniment is required for elementary school students. One adult guardian must accompany every two elementary school students.
  • Accompanying guests must purchase a Studio Tour ticket with the same designated entry time as the program participant. However, one caregiver may accompany each participant or accompanying guest who holds a disability certificate free of charge.
  • This program is conducted in Japanese. We do not offer support in other languages.

Reservations

  • Advance reservations are required for this program. Please purchase program package tickets for all participants at least 24 hours prior to your desired date and time.
  • If seats are available on the day of the event, you may participate by registering at the ticket counter.
  • Sales will end once capacity is reached.

Information on Check-in and Participation on the Day of the Event

  • Please wait in the lobby at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. A staff member holding a sign will greet you and guide you to the venue. If you arrive late for the start time, you may not be able to participate in all or part of the program.
  • You may enter the lobby starting one hour before your reserved time. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
  • The special benefits provided as part of the program are for children only. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of these benefits after they have been provided.
  • This program is designed for all participants to enjoy while moving around the facility together. If you leave the program early or stray from the group, you will not be able to rejoin the program.
  • Wands will be provided to guests participating in this program. You may also bring your own wand to use during the program.​

  • This program involves physical expression using a cane and moving around the facility. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for movement.
  • To ensure the program is conducted safely, participants and accompanying persons must follow the guidance and instructions of the staff. If you do not follow these instructions, you may be asked to refrain from participating. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
  • The venue includes dark areas as well as performances featuring loud noises and special effects (such as smoke).
  • If you have health concerns, a heart condition, or are sensitive to loud noises and special effects, please consider this carefully before participating.
  • To ensure safe operations, we may ask you to refrain from participating if you exhibit symptoms of illness.
  • We ask parents and guardians to cooperate in ensuring the safety of their children during the program.
  • In the unlikely event of an accident—such as injury or soiled clothing—during the program, we will provide first aid but assume no further liability.

Photography and Videography

  • Photography and videography are permitted in designated areas. Please be considerate of other guests when taking photos or videos.
  • Photos and videos taken within the program venue may be used solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Changes to or Cancellation of the Program

  • The program content, schedule, and capacity may be subject to change for operational or safety reasons.
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond our control, it may become impossible or inappropriate to conduct this program. In such cases, we may change the program details, provide reasonable alternatives, or cancel or postpone the program without prior notice. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for these measures.
